Jo Platt, MP for Leigh, recently visited The Weavers Arms in Leigh to mark its re-opening following the completion of a significant £200,000 investment in the site.
During her visit, Jo Platt met General Manager Sarah Brown, and Area Manager, Emily Savage. She was given a tour of the venue and learnt about Stonegate’s apprenticeships, training and development schemes.
During her visit, Jo Platt MP, said: “I’m very impressed with the investment in the pub, particularly how much it has become a family friendly venue. It’s also great to see how the pub is helping to raise the standard of local eateries in the community. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with Sarah and Emily and have already been back with my friends to enjoy a delicious meal.”
