The Lost Dene, on Deansgate in Manchester, is hosting a night of live entertainment in aid of the mental health charity, Mind, on Friday 28th June. From 8.30pm customers can enjoy the best of what Indie and Rock music has to offer from popular covers band, One Night Stand.;

The event has been organised by the Lost Dene’s Deputy Manager, Sophie Loftus, who has pulled out all the stops to ensure it’s a night to remember. Entrance is free, but customers are welcome to donate what they can to the cause.

Sophie has also organised a balloon arch in the pub – filled with an assortment of vouchers that can be redeemed at the bar. For just £1 customers can try their luck popping a balloon and find out if they are a winner. There will be a raffle running throughout the evening, with a fantastic collection of prizes up for grabs, from tickets to Salford City FC, to concert tickets, beer hampers, and more. There is even a signed poster of Sergio Aguero available for one lucky City fan.

Sophie said: “One Night Stand are an amazing band, as anyone who has seen them live previously will know. They really ramp up the atmosphere, wherever they play.

“I have been so amazed at the generosity we’ve seen already. There have been so many prize donations for our raffle – I really want to thank everyone who’s contributed. My team at the Lost Dene have been wonderful too, I couldn’t have put on the night without their help.

“I hope all of our customers enjoy the evening and we manage to raise some money for Mind. The work they do is so important – shining a light on mental health issues and making sure no one has to face their demons alone.”

The event comes as part of Sophie’s participation in Stonegate Pub Company’s ‘Accelerator Programme’. The course is part of its award-winning development programme, designed to give staff the skills and knowledge they need to succeed and proceed within the company.
