Diana Johnson, MP for Kingston Upon Hull North, recently visited The Haworth in Hull to see how the £272,000 investment, completed at the start of the year has benefited the site.
During her visit, Ms Johnson was greeted by the Area Manager, Jim Gray, and Pub Manager, Elaine Gibson, and was given a tour of the refurbished pub. On the tour, she was able to see how the investment has helped to improve the customer experience. She also learned about Stonegate’s apprenticeships, training and development schemes. Ms Johnson even had a go at pulling a pint, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Following her visit, Diana Johnson said: “Very pleased to pop into the Haworth on Beverley road and was great to meet Jim Gray and Elaine Gibson and hear all about the investment and what it has done for the pub and local community”.
