The Noahs Ark pub in Plymouth is hosting an Easter Spring Fling on Saturday 13th April. The pub has organised a variety of activity for the whole family to enjoy, in support of the Laura Hyde Foundation, a charity which supports mental health awareness for employees in the emergency services.
Customers can try their luck in an assortment of games throughout the day, including a raffle and a ‘guess how many eggs are in the tub’ competition. Raffle tickets cost just £1, which will be donated directly to the charity, and prizes include a bottle of champagne, spiced rum, perfume, kid’s games, super-sized stuffed toys, and more.
Children of all ages can bring their baskets to collect Easter eggs at the Great Egg Hunt starting at 12pm in the function room. Customers can also participate in egg painting, as well as other arts and crafts, and everyone is encouraged to come along dressed in their best Easter bunny or chick outfits for judging in the fancy dress costume contest!
Iain Brannan, General Manager of the Noahs Ark, said: “We’re hoping to raise as much money as possible to support the Laura Hyde Foundation, which is a very worthwhile charity. Police officers, firefighters and ambulance crew work so hard and have to deal with a lot of stress and the charity is there to help them deal with that. We thought Easter would be a great time to have some fun while fundraising and we really hope that our customers will support us and give generously.”
There is no cost to attend the event. Donations can be made at the bar or by participating in the raffle.
