Full Steam Ahead for Sports Bar and Grill Victoria

Victoria Station pub is transformed by £300,000 investment

Doors reopen on Wednesday 20th February

Commuters in and out of London finally have a welcoming space to relax, watch all the sport on widescreen TVs and enjoy comforting food and drinks without the risk of missing their train, as Sports Bar and Grill reopens in the heart of Victoria Station.

The venue has been thoroughly transformed with an interactive video wall and brand-new design, layout and furniture. Nine new bookable booths have also been added with individual TVs for customer to choose their favourite sport to watch, from football to rugby, tennis, boxing, wrestling and NFL.

The days kick off at 7am throughout the week, serving fresh coffee and cooked breakfast, and providing free Wi-Fi, to commuters and travellers alike. The food menu is also new and features all the perfect game-time foods. Four beef and four chicken burgers are now the centre of the line-up. The star of the show is the Messi Dribbler, a double patty beast with honey bacon, cheese and a cheesy pickle beef burger topping. However, the Fiery Bronco -with cheese, chorizo, jalapenos and Frank’s Hot Sauce-, and the Chicken Waffle Burger, are firm contenders to the trophy. Hand-stretched sourdough pizzas are new to the game and include toppings from simple Margherita to BBQ Burnt Ends or even Cheeseburger! Groups can enjoy small plates, sharing platters or a Make your own burger box with 6 bacon cheeseburgers and 6 toppings for friends to personalise their buns to their taste. Team Vegan will be happy to discover a whole section of plant-based delights. Worthy of note are the two vegan burgers, made with B12 meat-free patties, vegan sesame seeded buns, vegan mayo and optional Jackfruit topping.

On the drinks front, a great selection of craft beers and cask ales, such as Brooklyn Lager and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, as well as a game changing cocktails and a perfect serve of spirits and mixers will tempt every taste bud.

To celebrate the opening, the venue will host a live Q&A with legendary ex-Welsh international, BBC Radio 5 Live and BT Sport pundit Robbie Savage on Wednesday 27th February from 5pm, followed by live coverage of the mouth-watering Premier League clash between Chelsea and Spurs. Guests can get free tickets here http://bit.ly/2GhKjC0 and will receive a free beer or soft drink as well as have a chance to ask some questions to the man himself.
