Pub-goers in Crawley are in for a treat this February as the Railway reopens following a much-anticipated £250,000 transformation.
The revamp makes the Railway the perfect place to socialise with friends and family whatever the occasion or time of year. A new sports video wall and HDTVs have been added and are sure to be a hit with sports fans. A pergola and festoon lighting now decorate the outdoor space, making it ideal to enjoy warmer days.
Offering a welcoming and relaxed environment to spend time with friends and loved-ones, the pub will provide a wide range of well-priced food and drink and a selection of hand pulled ales – including Doom Bar, Camden House, Meantime Pale Ale, and Goose IPA. An extensive range of gins is also available alongside a selection of cocktails. The food menu includes pub classics, burgers and kid’s meals as well as an extended selection of veggie and vegan specials such as cauliflower dhansak curry and Thai lentil pie. The pub is also now open for breakfast from 10am every day.
There will also be a host of special weekly offers. Discounted big plates on Monday to catch the football game; burgers and a choice of drink on Tuesdays; Pie and a Pint on Wednesdays; a grilled dish and a drink on Quiz Night Thursdays; any classic dish and a drink on Fridays; or a selection of small sharing plates on Saturdays will keep customers coming back for more.
Entertainment is also available every week, from Poker Night on Mondays, to pool on Wednesdays, DJs on Fridays and Super Sundays featuring quiz, sports and, of course, roast dinners.
General Manager Emma Kelf is celebrating with a party for regulars and new customers on Thursday 7th February from 6pm. The first 100 guests will receive a complimentary glass of fizz and tasting samples of the new menu.
Emma says: “The team and I are incredibly excited to reveal the Railway transformation to the people of Crawley. The new interior looks amazing and we have great plans to deliver a fantastic customer experience and make a positive difference to the local community. We have a broad selection of well-priced food and drink, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone in to enjoy what we have created.”
