Pub-goers in Sidcup are in for a winter treat this December when Blackfen Road pub, The George Staples, will reopen Thursday 6th December following a £300,000 investment.
Offering a welcoming and relaxed environment in which to spend time with friends and loved-ones, the pub will open with a brand-new menu featuring an extended selection of veggie and vegan specials, as well as burgers, kid’s meals and much more, served until 9pm. For those seeking a tipple there are over 34 gins and a range of local craft ales to choose from, in addition to an already extensive wine list and soft drink selection.
A host of special weekly offers will ensure the pub continues to provide well-priced food and drink, with discounted big plates on ‘Monday Club’; burgers and a choice of drink on Tuesdays; pie and a pint on Wednesdays; a grilled dish and a drink on quiz night Thursdays; any classic dish and a drink on Fridays, all from £5.99; and five pick ‘n’ mix dishes for Saturday Shares for £9.49.
With the introduction of a series of new HDTVs, sure to be a hit with sports and games fans alike, and the outdoor seating area having also benefitted from the revamp, The George Staples provides the perfect place to socialise whatever the occasion or time of year.
General Manager, Peter Kitson will be celebrating the opening with a launch party between 5pm and 7pm on Thursday 6th December, welcoming new and existing customers with a free glass of fizz and tasting canapes to show off the new menu.
