CONTEMPORARY, INDEPENDENT AND COOL MEET THE THRONG OF HAMMERSMITH PUBS when a regenerated ‘Hop Poles’ threw open its doors fresh with twenty craft beers, cocktail bar, unique roof terrace and promised good times.

A whopping £370,000 investment at the iconic landmark breaks the mould on drab. Industrialised, reclaimed and quirky along with a clever mix of seating and three bars, whether it’s grabbing dinner and drinks before laughing for hours at The Apollo, taking in a new show at The Lyric, or supping after work drinks with colleagues, there’s something for everyone.

“Hammersmith is crying out for something independent,” said manager Elly Villar. “We’ve spared nothing in creating a unique space to escape into from al fresco dining on our roof terrace to an individual first floor space and secluded cocktail bar downstairs.

“Overlaying all of that is a great offer that doesn’t stop at hand-crafted drinks. A tapas and sourdough pizza led menu extends through to the ever more popular Sunday lunch and we’ve got quizzes, board games and music on hand to keep customers occupied.”

Eight new jobs have been created to ensure perfect service from brunch until nightfall.

Twenty craft and cask beers is an unmistakable highlight, the neon lit back wall of taps showing off amongst others Portobello, Meantime, Camden and Brewdog brewery beers. Cocktails make the post work wind down worth a hard week at 241 Mon-Fri 5-8pm and fifteen gins are just a part of the spirits emporium where even Tequila is sipped not shot.

Sourdough pizzas, tempting tapas sharers and an enviable line up of desserts make the edgy menu inclusive for the veggie, trendsetter, and crav-able burger lover. The Japanese Wagyu Beef Burger ticks all the foodgasm boxes with oozing molten cheese sauce, wrapped for extra juice and succulence.

Other weeklong reasons to visit include Wednesday Sticky Wings 10 for £3; Thursday 2- FOR-1 Pizza and quiz night; Fizz Friday; and Sundays are for Roast and Craft Club 2 for £6 (from 5pm).

On 8th April, a showcase event 5-8pm invites Hammersmith to see the new bar in all its glory with live music, fizz, wine & Craft tasters, tapas, and meet Meantime Brewery.
