Stonegate Pub Company has launched a series of masterclasses to support its existing programme of ongoing training for its general managers. The Company has introduced the fourteen masterclasses, tailored for new and existing general managers to further boost their skills.
The masterclasses, carried out both online via its award-winning bespoke online training platform and intranet system, and as group workshops, cover all aspects of managing a business from financial management and sales and marketing to managing teams and developing people.
The masterclasses cover the following topics: ‘Understanding your PandL’ via an interactive PandL tour, ‘Sales Building’, ‘IT Skills’, ‘Marketing and Merchandising’, ‘Fundamentals of Leadership’, ‘Time Management’, ‘Developing Your People’, ‘Recruitment Skills’, ‘Coaching’, ‘Conflict Management’, ‘Advanced Cellar Management’, ‘Increasing Food Sales’, ‘Investment Training’ and ‘Performance Management’.
Lee Woolley, Head of Learning and Development at the Stonegate Pub Company said: “These masterclasses, which range from a bespoke online PandL course to more in depth two day workshops, add an extra layer of training for our general managers.
