Four new jobs are to be created at Bonds in Mayfair when it re-opens next week following a 10-day, £170,000 refurbishment.
The pub, which is owned and operated by award-winning Stonegate Pub Company, will re-opened its doors on Wednesday 4th December for a celebratory James Bond themed evening.
Customers at the Dering Street pub will notice quite a difference when they step back inside as the pub will have a totally new look – lighter and brighter with a contemporary urban feel. And yet it will retain all the traditional pub values that customers look for – great food, an excellent choice of wines and cask beers and a welcoming ambiance.
Dejan Nikolic, general manager of Bonds said, “We’re over the moon to have a brand new look Bonds just in time for Christmas.”
“The new Bonds will exude style and elegance so it seems fitting, given our name too, to host a Bond themed re-launch party. Our staff will be dressed to the nines and we’ll be showing classic Bond clips on our screens and playing memorable Bond tunes throughout the evening”, he continued.
Doors open for the launch party at 7pm on Wednesday 4th December with added glamour from stilt-walkers and fire-breathers during the evening. Some of Bonds drinks suppliers will be circulating throughout the pub too, offering samples of their drinks to guests.
Commenting on the food, drinks and entertainment offer at Bonds, Dejan said, “We are in a unique location in the heart of London but what we find is that our customers see us as a haven from the buzz of life outside. They love the fact that our dishes are great quality but are still pub food and also that they can get a really varied choice of beers at any time, as have thirteen on tap. We’ve six big screens dotted around the pub so customers can pop in from work or take a break from shopping to catch live sporting action too.”
