The Litten Tree on Lake Street in Bedfordshire, which is owned and operated by the award-winning Stonegate Pub Company, will be hosting a coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Nurses on Friday 27th September.
General manager of the Litten Tree, Matthew Barry said: “We are very lucky as we are part of a great community and we are proud to host this coffee morning. Ourlocal guests will be supplying the cakes for the event and we will be treating everyone to a hot drink of choice – all free of charge – but we encourage guests to make a generous donation in support of the charity”.
There will also be a raffle held, with prizes presented at noon by the Deputy Town Mayor of Leighton Buzzard, Amanda Dodwell. The prizes have been donated by local businesses and include health and beauty vouchers, a three-month gym membership with Anytime Fitness and various hampers filled with delicious goods. The team at the pub have also created a hamper of their own, containing two bottles of wine and a £20 meal voucher.
