This week, Yates’s pubs across the country have launched their Autumn/Winter menu which introduces a number of new dishes to reflect the shorter days and longer nights, whilst at the same time continuing to offer their customers great value for money.
Starting with the most important meal of the day, Yates’s will be offering their mouth-watering, appetite-satisfying Breakfast Stack which comprises of bacon, Cumberland sausage, scrambled or fried egg served in a toasted bun for just £1.99.
For those looking for a bite to eat at lunchtime, the soft corn tortillas topped with lettuce, fresh tomato salsa and sour cream with a lime and chilli dressing and served with tortilla chips should fit the bill, especially with two new fillings; tender pulled spiced BBQ beef or Southern fried chicken fillets.
A new ‘Yates’s Specials’ section has been introduced to the menu which offers a wide variety of dishes from mixed grills to pastas. Tender sticky ribs topped with smoky or spicy BBQ sauce feature in this section, along with the sumptuous smoked haddock, salmon and king prawn pie which is served with a creamy leek sauce, topped with mashed potato and cheese, peas and carrots.
For those who like a taste of Great Britain, the British Steak and Bombardier pie has undergone a makeover, ensuring that this pie is second to none and every mouthful leaves you wanting more. Also guaranteed to warm the cockles of your heart is the British Beef and Red Wine Suet Pudding; tender shredded beef in a rich red wine gravy served with mashed potato, peas and gravy.
One of the best-selling sections on the Yates’s menu is the curry offer which includes a meal and a drink. In addition to the classic curries available, three new curries have been introduced including a red Thai chicken curry; a Chinese chicken curry and the Katsu Chicken curry; two breaded chicken breasts and a jug of creamy curry sauce, with onion, garlic, ginger, chilli and coconut cream, served with rice on a leaf garnish.
Those with a sweet tooth are also catered for, especially with the two desserts for one offer. Customers can choose from the Chocolate Caramel Tart where rich chocolate and caramel layers rest on a bed of chocolate pastry, served with a caramel sauce or the comforting Bakewell sponge served with vanilla ice cream or custard.
Claire Tanner-Stacey from Yates’s said: “Our menu is bigger and better than before with a wide and varied range of dishes. Not only have we focussed on some seasonal additions, which will help to get our customers through the colder months with bolder, comforting flavours, we’ve also improved some of best-selling dishes such as our burgers which are growing in popularity.
“One of the many great things about Yates’s is that we offer our customers quality food at value for money prices. We can be all things to all people, whether it’s catering for those who want to pop in for a coffee in the morning, a place to enjoy lunch away from the office or somewhere to celebrate a family occasion in the evening. We’re delighted with the menu and the range of dishes available and believe it will keep people returning to our bars time after time.”
