Ok, so we are well aware that the weather has been unseasonably bad but really, Christmas in July? The Crown in Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough is already getting into the Christmas spirit – or should that be already sampling the Christmas spirits – as they host a Christmas party complete with snow on Monday 23rd July.
Sarah Watson, general manager of the Crown said: “We wanted to hold an event that would make everyone smile, especially considering the lack of sunshine and everyone loves Christmas, don’t they? We’ve organised a snow machine, ordered a Christmas tree and we’ll be donning the pub in Christmas decorations. The team and I will also be dressing up in Christmas costume and already we’ve got a collection of elves, fairies and Santas. We’ll be encouraging customers to get festive as well so we hope to see some great outfits on the night!”
In addition to the Christmas party, the Crown will also be organising their second Ultra Violet paint party on Monday 6th August which is back by popular demand. Cannons squirting UV paint and tubs of paint available to buy will make it a messy but unforgettable night!
Doors for both events open at 8pm and admission is £3.
