Friday 13th is usually associated with bad luck – not however if you are customer of Bar Med on Crawley’s High Street. On Friday 13th April, local band, Run Young Lovers will be paying a return visit to the bar in their first home show in a year!
Supporting Run Young Lovers is Pirate and Cobie – another Crawley based act and Loose Lips from Brighton.
Doors open at 8pm and advance tickets are £3 and can be purchased via Run Young Lovers website http://www.runyounglovers.co.uk/ along with free downloads of their songs.
Sean Connor from Bar Med said: “We host live music events at Bar Med at least once a month and it’s great that we can welcome back Run Young Lovers who were recently featured on BBC Radio 1’s “In New Music We Trust”, their showcase for new music.
“They’ve played a couple of times before, once as a support act and one as the headline act but we’re expecting a fantastic night as it’s their homecoming gig. We’re always keen to showcase and support local talent, plus their music is rather good too!
“Run Young Lovers has brilliant fan base who always create a great atmosphere so if you haven’t heard the band and like live music then I’d definitely recommend coming down to Bar Med – you guaranteed a night of great music and great company.”
