The Oak, Baginton has reopened this week, following a significant investment. The Oak is the perfect place to stay, dine and enjoy a drink or two.

Located in the historic Warwickshire village in Baginton, The Oak remains warm and welcoming as ever, a true home away from home, but has had some TLC and touch-ups. There has also been upgrades behind the scenes, creating new amazing food and drinks menus.

The pub reopens with new offers for Valentine’s Day, including a delicious tree-course meal priced at £14.99 per person and a complimentary glass of fizz for everyone who pre-books a table. This set menu will be available from Friday 11 – Monday 14 February. Each course has a name inspired by love. Starting with a ‘first kiss’, or in other words a starter, of soup of the day or cheesy button mushroom bruschetta. Followed by a main plate, or ‘rapture’ as it is coined on the menu, options include a rump steak. Then, a ‘sweet surrender’, or pudding, ends the romantic meal with sweet treats including an indulgent chocolate fudge cake.

Furthermore, The Oak, Baginton is also launching a competition where a lucky couple has the chance to win a romantic getaway. The prize includes a romantic staycation in one of Stonegate Group’s hotels for two nights, including all meals and travel expenses. The competition will run from Thursday 3 February – Wednesday 16 February. To enter, customers should visit the pub’s website.

Moreover, the pub is keeping its Afternoon Tea menu for those who fancy a weekday treat between 12:30pm and 4:30pm. Guests can also upgrade their Afternoon Tea with a glass of Prosecco.

The extensive drinks list includes premium beers such as, Budvar Budweiser and Estrella Damm, a range of Ales, including Doom Bar, Abbots and 61 Deep, and the popular cider Rekorderlig. The wine list includes a range of over 20 wines, including Campo viejo Rioja Tempranillo and Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc and champagnes, including Veuve Cliquot and Lanson Rosé. At the Oak, you can also find some of the classic and people’s favourites Peroni, Birra Moretti, craft Brewdog Planet Pale and Camden Hells.

Chris Goodwin, General Manager of The Oak, said: “I am so excited about this investment, as it has allowed us to upgrade our operation to ensure we continue to provide the best possible customer experience. There is something for everyone with our new delicious food and drink menus. Being so close to Coventry Airport, we are the perfect place to stay if you have just landed and you’re looking for a beautiful country escape. Our picturesque inn is easily accessible from major roads like the M40, M69, M1, M6, and the M45, so you don’t have to travel far to discover all the beautiful things the English countryside has to offer. Every room is dog-friendly too, so why not bring your furry friend with you!”.

The Oak has a brilliant line up of events coming this month, such as Quiz nights and live music evenings. For more information on the Oak’s action-packed calendar of events, keep an eye on the pub’s website and social media:
