The Sutton Fields, Hull has transformed their sports area with a new feature wall created by artist Steve Rickard.
Well known for being a hub for all live sports in Hull, The Sutton Fields wanted to redesign the space in the pub where they show live sport, to make it into a games and sport area. The pub has transformed the space into a sport lovers paradise with its new look.
The room had a simple design of green and white striped walls, with a few sports signs and posters hanging up. The room now has a feature wall designed and produced by Steve Rickard. The design features fans cheering along the bottom, Hull sports teams badges and iconic individuals in sport for Hull. Steve stencilled the design onto the wall, then proceeded to spray paint. The games and sports area in the pub also features a TV with Sky Sports and BT Sports Packages, Pool tables and has lots of space remaining, so everyone can come along.
Stephen Davies, General Manager of The Sutton Fields, said: “The games and sports area has always been popular amongst customers, and the new design has just made it a better experience. The space has really been transformed, showcasing our love for sport and support to the history of sport in Hull. We are amazed by Steve’s work and love what he has done, we hope all our visitors love it too. I am so excited to welcome customers into the space to watch all the sports matches coming up.”
