Ye Olde Horseshoe Inn, Belbroughton has been shortlisted as a finalist in the category of Stonegate Group Pub Partners Pub of the Year at the Great British Pub Awards 2022.

 

Ye Olde Horseshoe Inn (The Horseshoes) is a traditional and welcoming gastropub at the heart of Belbroughton’s local community, providing a sociable space for guests to come and enjoy its distinctive homemade food offering, alongside a wide selection of wines, beers, and gin cocktails.

 

The Horseshoes food offering is truly unique. The menu is traditional with a modern twist, taking influences from around the world and bringing it to life on a plate for their customers to enjoy. The food is fresh, seasonal, and homemade; and executed to the highest standard repeatedly. The pub offers unique dishes such as Korean chicken flatbread and peanut butter, and marmite chicken wings, alongside a modern interpretation of pub classics including chicken, smoked pancetta, and blue cheese pie. The Horseshoes also has a pizza oven set within the garden space, where the selection of pizzas is made to order, with all elements including the dough being made from scratch onsite. The pub’s menu is consistently changing as new produce comes into season, keeping the menu fresh and exciting for both new and returning customers alike.

 

The Horseshoes is the perfect venue for gatherings with friends and family. The pub has a spacious garden which is great for having drinks in the sun and the warm interior is perfect for the colder months, the pub also benefits from a large private dining space which can seat up to 20 people. The awards recognise pubs, and their teams across the country for their long-standing efforts and hard work undertaken to make Britain’s pubs an asset to their communities. Two rounds of judging have already taken place to choose the finalists, and further judging will commence over the summer with pub visits taking place.

 

The Great British Pub Awards are taking place on Tuesday 4 October 2022 at the Escape to Freight Island in Manchester.
