Boasting a refreshed look, an exciting entertainment offering, and an extensive new menu, The Prince of Wales in East Barnet reopened last month, following a £290,000 investment into the charming pub.

Kicking off their reopening weekend last month, a host of entertainment was put on, including live music from Patrick Ralphson and Mirror Effect, a visit from the town crier, as well as a meet the brewer evening with Beavertown Brewery. Just a taster of things to come, the family-friendly pub will continue to provide entertainment to locals and passers-by with a DJ every Friday night and live music every last Saturday of the month. The entertainment doesn’t stop there, with the pub’s regular quiz nights returning every Thursday.

With the football season now well and truly underway, another change to the pub’s offering has seen the addition of BT and Sky Sports to the venue’s four internal and two external TVs, meaning not a minute of the UK’s biggest sporting action will be missed.

Speaking on the reopening General Manager Natasha Dickens said “We’ve had a fantastic reopening weekend, which has been full of fun and laughter. It’s been so great to see so many familiar faces once again enjoying the pub and our entertainment following our refurbishment.”

Throughout the venue, a number of décor changes have been made, bringing an updated look to the popular East Barnet eatery. Receiving a complete transformation, the interior has been redecorated with a warm and homely feel, as well as a brand new look to the popular garden area. The Prince of Wales is the perfect place to enjoy some food and drink, as the autumnal days start to roll in.”

The character-filled local pub is also now offering a new menu full of family favourites, with a range of classic dishes including fish & chips, wings, gourmet burgers and delicious Sunday roasts, which includes a selection of three types of meat, available to guests from 12pm every day.

Lining up the bar is a vast range of international and local beers, gins, wines and cocktails available throughout the day and evening at the dog-friendly pub.

Natasha added “We are thrilled with the changes made to our entertainment offering, the look of the interior and garden of the pub, as well as our new food menu. We have such a great connection with the local community and finally being able to bring in these changes for them to enjoy, makes me really excited for the future of the pub.”

Located on Church Hill Road in East Barnet Village, the popular North West London venue has been run as a pub since 1876.
