The warm and welcoming Cross Keys in Llandudno has reopened with a new look and feel, inside and out, following a £280,000 investment into the refurbishment of the popular community local.
Alongside the pub’s transformation, there has also been an update to its entertainment offering, with state of the art audio-visual equipment installed to allow for an amazing viewing experience from all areas of the bar. For those looking to take part in some sporting action themselves, a new pool table and illuminated dartboard have also been added alongside new gaming machines to enable guests to take on their friends.
The pub will also be putting on a range of entertainment which will see Mondays kick off the week with a Poker night. Tuesdays will see the Darts League take centre stage in the evening, with Wednesdays offering a full day Games Day, from pool to board games. Thursdays kick off the music entertainment with an Open Mic Night, followed by a Live Music on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Cross Keys is being run by Gareth Davies. Speaking on the refurbishment, Gareth said “I am so proud of the pub’s new look and am really excited for the future of this great pub. We have a range of new entertainment going on at the pub throughout the week, which alongside our new look makes the Cross Keys a must-try for both locals and passers-by.”
The Cross Keys is part of the award-winning Craft Union Pub Company, who were named the Best Community Operator at the 2022 Publican Awards.
Gareth added “Pubs like the Cross Keys are so important to the local community. Bringing people together is of the utmost importance to me and I have a whole host of plans in the pipeline to make sure there is plenty of entertainment on offer here at the pub for local people.”
