A popular Hemel Hempstead pub has been revamped to offer the very best in hospitality and entertainment to the community.
The High Street pub re-opened on February 15 following a complete redesign and refurbishment by owner Craft Union.
The entire pub has been renovated with a new layout, lighting, furniture, fixtures, and fittings, along with a revamped beer garden to give the Rose & Crown a new lease of life. A former function room has been converted into another bar so guests can enjoy even more room in the venue.
Live sport will play an important role in the pub with seven new HD screens installed to show all the latest action on Sky Sports and BT Sport, as well as major events such as the remainder of this year’s Six Nations Championship.
A new illuminated darts board and pool table will further keep guests entertained, with new operator Keith Coles also keen to establish competitive teams in both sports.
He said: “We can’t wait for people to come in and enjoy what we have to offer now. We will be looking to enter teams in darts and pool leagues and we will also be offering free pool on Mondays along with killer pool on Wednesdays.”
Keith is an established operator in the world of hospitality and is looking forward to meeting customers old and new at the Rose & Crown.
“Community has always been very important for me at previous pubs and it will be at the heart of what we do at the Rose & Crown. We want to offer something for everyone here. We will be working hard to get the atmosphere right so people can come in and enjoy live sport, music, and everything else we offer.
“We will be playing different types of music and asking customers what they want so we can ensure we put on the type of acts they really want to see.”
There will be more entertainment with quiz nights, karaoke, play your cards right and live music and DJs all taking place at the pub every week.
The pub is part of the award-winning Craft Union Pub Company, who were named the Best Community Operator at the 2022 Publican Awards. It invested more than £200,000 in the Rose & Crown so it can provide top notch hospitality to customers.
The pub offers a range of great value beers, wines, and spirits, including cask ales. It is also dog friendly.
