A much-loved community pub in the heart of Upton is set to re-open after a full renovation across the board, with an incredible new offering for customers.
After a generous £200,000 investment from Stonegate group, The Willows pub in Upton will open its doors on 26th April 2023. The neighbourhood favourite has had extensive updates throughout, including to its popular function room, which is now fully renovated for that special occasion or party, as well as a full make-over in the main bar.
With the interior being fully re-vamped, customers can also expect a fresh new look in the brand-new beer garden, which has had a total uplift, ready for summer drinks with loved ones.
The new publicans Rachel & Natasha have worked in the hospitality world for over 15 years, having won multiple awards for community service as well as winning ‘pub of the year’ for another pub they ran in the local area.
Shelley Matier, general manager said: “We are so excited to unveil the brand-new look at the Willows. We’ve got a really exciting launch event taking place to mark the opening and we can’t wait to welcome new and old customers alike. There’s going to be a lot of new life at the Willows, and we can’t wait to share our journey with you.”
The Willows will be hosting a full weekender launch party across 6th, 7th and 8th May to celebrate their grand opening, with a DJ, family fun day with a bouncy castle & face painting, afternoon tea as well as a Willows bake off! There will also be a coronation themed quiz and bingo, with local food vans in the area joining too.
As well as the décor renovations, customers of The Willows can expect a brand-new sports offering, with daily activities now in place, such as Monday Club, a darts league, karaoke, raffles and much more – so there’ll be no shortage of entertainment!
The pub is part of the award-winning Craft Union Pub Company, who were named the Best Community Operator at the 2022 Publican Awards. With the huge investment resulting in an epic transformation, The Willows is sure to deliver the very best hospitality & experience to new and old customers alike.
