Four well-loved pubs across the Portsmouth area, belonging to the award-winning Stonegate Group, are coming together to host an entertainment-filled talent show, ‘Pompey’s Got Talent’, across the month of July. The venues are searching for talented performers across the board to take part in the feel-good event!
Whether you’re a musician, dancer, magician, or anything in-between, Pompey’s Got Talent wants to hear from you! Select customers from each venue involved will vote for their winner in each pub, with the final winner then being decided by the pub managers of each site. The deciding vote, and winner will then be chosen by DJ Westy, who will also be hosting the event at each of the four venues.
Keith Treggiden, Regional Manager, stated “We are really excited to be part of these feel-good events across the summer. As community led pubs, it’s always great to bring people together to showcase talent and have fun at the same time with locals. We’re offering a grand prize of £500, so it’ll be great to see as many people as possible getting involved!”
All four venues will be around the Portsmouth area, including The Painters, The Fountain, Thatchers and The Lord Fitzclarence, with the event being hosted across July. The first event will take place at The Painters, on the 6th July, the second at The Fountain on 13th July, the third at Thatchers on 20th July and The Lord Fitzclarence on 27th July, in which each pub will whittle their talent contest competitors down to two!
July 28th will mark the grand finale of the event, which will take place at The Lord Fitzclarence, where finalists will perform their acts again, and the show-stopping winner will be announced! With a grand prize of £500, this is not one to be missed!
