The Spitfire in Ainsdale has recently reopened its doors following an investment by the award-winning Stonegate Group and is preparing to welcome the local community to its spectacular grand launch weekend on the 28th, 29thand 30th of July.
General Manager, Mark Taaffe and the pub team have planned an amazing weekend for the whole family to get involved with, and it is not to be missed!
Kicking things off on Friday 28 July from 5pm, customers can expect to be amazed as the pub will welcome a talented magician to perform some mesmerising magic tricks. Following on from the magic will be music from Sarah Bright, also known as ‘Just Like Cher’ and will be performing all of her hits from 7pm. So come and grab a drink and party your Friday night away at the Spitfire.
Saturday is a day for families in Ainsdale, with the pub hosting a huge range of entertainment for all the family to enjoy, from 12pm. Kids and adults alike can enjoy roaming around the petting zoo, getting beautiful designs painted on your face, and also enjoy some delicious ice cream from Francos Whippy. And after the kids have had their fun, the evening is for the adults! If you’re a fan of Ed Sheeran you definitely don’t want to miss out on Ben Jordan performing his tribute show in the loop. Enjoy a refreshing drink with friends and loved ones and some great music.
To round off the weekend of celebrations and fun, everyone is welcome from 12pm for more ice cream, face painting and exploring the petting zoo. You can also come in for delicious Sunday roasts and drinks in the garden.

As if there weren’t reason enough to pop down to the Spitfire, there is now also entertainment taking place across the whole week. Bring the kids along on Monday for a colouring competition, enjoy a burger and drink deal on Tuesdays, get competitive and put your knowledge to the test at bingo and quiz night on Wednesdays, participate in Game Show Time with Andrew on Thursday evenings, party all evening on Saturdays with live entertainment and wind down on Sundays with roast dinners and live sports.
