Slug & Lettuce is excited to announce the grand reopening of its Albert Square location in Manchester on Friday 12th July following an impressive £650k renovation.
Albert Square joins Deansgate, Birmingham and Solihull as the fourth site to showcase the brand’s evolved concept, creating the ultimate social destination.
For years, Slug & Lettuce has been the go-to spot for friends, colleagues and loved ones to come together to celebrate life’s key moments. The revamped Albert Square venue is designed with this is mind, offering a seamless transition from day to night, no matter the occasion.
The space is adorned with a vivacious colour scheme, featuring the brand’s iconic flamingo pink and jungle green, alongside a bespoke back bar mural with hues of pink, teal, blue and green, bronze mirrors, and colour-changing LED lighting to create a playful ambiance.
A standout feature of the revamped venue is the newly installed photobooth, perfect for bringing people together to capture those unforgettable moments. Guests can also expect a world of flamboyant vibrancy, featuring metallic faux leather, patterned fabrics, trailing foliage and ambient lighting.
The popular brand, renowned and adored for its fabulous 2-4-1 cocktails, continues to live up to its fun-filled reputation by introducing an extended bottomless brunch that lasts until 9pm. Additionally, guests can enjoy a brand-new summer menu, featuring options such as afternoon tea and a fantastic midweek dinner and date menu. These enhancements are part of the brand’s ongoing evolution, ensuring a delightful experience for all visitors.
Simon Pugsley, the newly appointed General Manager of Slug & Lettuce Albert Square, previously led Slug & Lettuce Deansgate, the first venue to undergo substantial investment. Simon commented: “The investment into Deansgate completely transformed the venue and the Albert Square venue is set to be just as incredible. The Albert Square team and I are looking forward to welcoming our guests back to the new-look venue and we can’t wait to start a new chapter for the site. The investment into Slug & Lettuce Albert Square makes it the brand’s fourth site to undergo a substantial transformation, bringing the total investment to more than £2,600,000 and roll out planned across multiples sites in the UK.
