Popular Bangor pub, The Castle, has reopened following a six-figure investment, creating two new jobs in the local community.
Sitting directly opposite the cathedral in the centre of Bangor, the site is the heart of the community and a favoured spot amongst Bangor locals.
As part of Stonegate Group’s commitment to position every site for success, the investment has been carefully allocated to enhance the pub’s offerings while preserving its natural charm.
All renovations have been crafted to aid the pub’s goal of being a welcoming space for people in the Gwynedd area who are looking for a tasty bite to eat or an unforgettable night out.
Inside, the venue’s vibrant new décor has revitalised the interior space, with pristine LED lighting running throughout the venue providing a distinctive atmosphere found only at The Castle.
The investment has also led to a new state-of-the-art audio visual system being installed, with the improved speakers allowing for the very best tunes to be heard at their finest, providing the ultimate soundtrack to an unforgettable night out
As a popular hub for Bangor’s sports fans, the pub’s game-day experience has been elevated with the addition of five snug booths, each fitted with HD TVs, ensuring fans enjoy the best view of the action.
Whether it’s Premier League football, rugby, boxing, or Formula 1, The Castle has every sporting event covered.
The city centre pub also offers a fantastic range of craft beers, world beers, cider, and cocktails, all at some of the most competitive prices in the area and with 2-4-1 cocktails available all day, every day – what’s not to like!
Those not drinking alcohol will be able to choose from an extensive range of no and low alcohol options, ensuring everyone is accommodated to.
Furthermore, furry friends are welcome throughout the pub, with the venue being a popular spot for dog walkers popping in for a pint.
MiXR users can also unlock exclusive rewards at The Castle by downloading the MiXR app and creating an account, including a free drink for signing up. Students can also take advantage of special discounts available exclusively through the app.
Sarah Hudson, General Manager of The Castle, said: “These renovations align with Stonegate Group’s commitment to keep improving and innovating, meaning we can give our guests the best possible experience at our pub.
“Our goal with this investment is to make our pub the ultimate destination for sports fans in Bangor. With a wide range of HD screens and great food and drink at competitive prices, we’re offering the best matchday experience in the area.
