Popular Denton pub, the Jolly Hatters, has reopened after an exciting six-figure investment, marking the start of a new chapter for the community pub.
Situated at the heart of the community, the Jolly Hatters closed to undertake an extensive refurbishment in September with the team working hard behind the scenes on renovating the beloved pub.
Located on Haughton Green Road, the adored pub has undergone a full makeover with vibrant modern décor and full refurbishments throughout the pub signifying the start of a new era for the Jolly Hatters.
As you enter the pub, the left side of the pub has become as a cosier, lounge area, with new furniture and a soft carpet installed being perfectly crafted for enjoying a relaxing pint of ice cold lager, while also creating an increase in covers by 17.
Previously several raised levels, this area of the pub is now on one level, while the right side of the pub has been revamped to make the pub become the place to watch sport in the Denton area.
Additional seating, a brand-new pool table, and a darts area make this spot the perfect location for guests to discover their inner Luke Littler, while also enjoying free pool all day on Monday.
What’s more, the dedicated sports area will see the introduction of new HD TVs, while the state-of-the-art audio-visual system will ensure guests can feel every kick of the ball with the sporting action on throughout the weekend, with views of the sport available from all seats in the Jolly Hatters.
Externally, the much-loved beer garden has been perfected, with the fencing being redecorated and new fencing being installed in the rear beer garden, while new décor will help fuel the unique homely atmosphere that is found only at the Jolly Hatters.
Furthermore, furry friends are welcome throughout the pub, with the community pub being a popular spot for dog walkers popping in for one of the Jolly Hatters’ lovely tipples.
The Jolly Hatters also boasts a fine selection of beers, ciders and wine, all at some of the most competitive price points in the area. The pub also has an extensive offering of no and low alcohol offerings, ensuring all guests are accommodated to.
Kelly Gregory, Operator of the Jolly Hatters, said: “We can’t wait to welcome back locals to our refreshed pub! Reopening as part of the Craft Union family marks an exciting new chapter for us.
“We believe the refurbishments have not only enhanced our warm and welcoming atmosphere but also further strengthened the pub’s community spirit, which was at the heart of our thoughts during the investment.
“We’re proud of our fantastic range of beverages at great prices, and with our new pub sports offering and range of HD TV screens showing all the sporting action, we’re set to be one of the best spots for pub sport in Greater Manchester.”
