The World Flair Association final took place at Be At One Regent Street this week with Michael Moreni winning the coveted prize of the world’s best flair bartender, taking home a huge £3,500 prize.
This year, the World Flair Association partnered with Be At One to host their biggest final yet. A public event, the final saw hundreds in attendance while 25 of the world’s best flair bartenders battled it out to be crowned the champion, with Italian Michael Moreni taking home the top prize.
From Peru to Kazakhstan, all corners of the globe were represented in this international celebration of the craft of flair bartending – a skill which combines preparing cocktails with entertainment for guests, with many tuning in around the globe through a livestream on Twitch.
Be At One Regent Street’s own Xavier Delle Cave and Lorenzo Costanzo competed respectably, displaying the quality of London’s own flair bartenders with both performances receiving a huge ovation from the crowd.
However, Italian Michael Moreni’s breathtaking performance which combined juggling countless cocktail shakers to high energy music alongside balancing a bottle of spirits on his head while juggling a cocktail shaker onto the top of the very bottle placed on his head stunned the crowd and judges alike.
Moreni displayed every trick shot in the book to perfection and had the hundreds in attendance all amazed with his flair bartending talent, while also making many in the crowd peckish for one of Be At One Regent Street’s delicious cocktails.
Andy Palfreyman, Operations Director at Be At One, said: “We feel incredibly privileged to have hosted the World Flair Association finals this week, as the UK’s home of cocktails, being asked to host the WFA for the 2024 Grand Final was an absolute honour.
