Beloved Kent pub, the Belle Vue, has reopened following an exciting six-figure investment, with the renovations marking the beginning of a new chapter for the pub.
The venue closed its doors at the beginning of January for the transformation, with extensive work taking place behind the scenes to introduce new features.
Situated on 159 Northdown Road, the pub has established itself as Cliftonville’s ultimate destination for pub sports, featuring a new darts area with two oches, perfect for local league players who want to discover their inner Luke Littler.
The pub is also equipped with Sky Sports and TNT Sports, further enhancing the pub’s position as the go-to place to watch the big match in the Margate area. The venue has Sky Q, meaning the pub will broadcast football matches from multiple leagues for fans who want their EFL fix.
The investment has resulted in a more spacious and open layout, creating an enhanced environment for private events, and the popular pub is now welcoming bookings for a wide range of functions.
The renovated pub now boasts new furniture, offering greater comfort, while the redecoration has given the Belle Vue a fresh look.
What’s more, the new-look pub features an upgraded drinks selection with popular pints, Inch’s Cider and Camden Hells, being introduced to guests.
The Belle Vue boasts a fine selection of beers, ciders and wine, all at some of the most competitive price points in the area, as well as an extensive offering of no and low alcohol offerings, ensuring all guests are accommodated to during Dry January and beyond.
Situated near Dane Park, dogs are welcome throughout, with this popular venue being a favourite among guests stopping by for a pint with their pooch.
Sharron Cove, Operator at the Belle Vue, said: “All of us have been working hard behind the scenes for the past few weeks making improvements to our beloved pub, so it’s been great to welcome guests, both old and new, back to the Belle Vue.
“The feedback we’ve received from our guests about how much they love the new décor and all the new features we’ve invested in has been brilliant to hear!
“We know the work completed has not only enhanced our warm and welcoming atmosphere but also strengthened the pub’s community spirit, which was at the heart of our thoughts during the investment.”
Reopening with a bang, the Belle Vue boasts a huge reopening events schedule to welcome back Margate locals in style. Friday 31st January sees local DJ and fundraiser Graham Burns invite locals to try their hand at karaoke while also hosting an annual quiz night on the very same evening.
A fundraiser for breast cancer research will also take place on the same night, with the community anticipated to rally together to celebrate a great cause. Saturday will feature a variety of tribute acts, starting with a Chas and Dave covers performance in the afternoon. In the evening, Margate can sing along to Elvis Presley’s greatest hits, with tribute act John White taking the mic.
To finish off the weekend’s celebrations, Sunday night karaoke and a traditional meat raffle will take place, while the pub screens the weekend’s big matches, as Sunday’s Arsenal v Man City match taking centre stage.
