Beloved Corby pub, the Hazel Tree, has reopened following a six-figure investment, creating two new jobs in the local community.
After weeks of hard work, the Hazel Tree has been given a new lease of life, ensuring it can continue serving the people of Northamptonshire for years to come.
The pub has been fully redecorated with brand-new furniture adding a newfound sense of comfort to the pub while a state-of-the-art audio-visual system has been installed to make a night out at the Hazel Tree sound better than ever.
The new professional-standard darts area invites enthusiasts to the Hazel Tree to channel their inner Luke Littler, while the pool table has been retained, offering a dedicated space for pub sports, with free pool available every Wednesday.
Externally, the pub’s outdoor area has seen an investment with new furniture and fencing, increasing the pub’s curb appeal. New festoon lighting also helps the pub’s outdoor area become one of the cosiest outdoor areas in Corby, perfect for enjoying a cold pint in the warmer spring evenings.
Perfect for live sports, the pub has improved its amenities with new Sky Q boxes enabling the pub to show Sky, Sky Sports+, TNT Sports, Premier Sports plus sport on Prime. As a result, this enables the Hazel Tree to show multiple different sports, or matches at the same time, all on HD TV’s.
The Hazel Tree also boasts a fine selection of beers, ciders and wine, all at some of the most competitive price points in the area, as well as an extensive offering of no and low alcohol offerings, ensuring all guests are accommodated to.
Situated near walking spots, well-behaved dogs are welcome throughout, with this popular venue being a favourite among guests stopping by for a pint with their pet.

The pub boasts a lively weekly events schedule, featuring Race Day and the Men’s Darts League on Mondays, Ladies Darts on Tuesdays, and free jukebox and free pool on Wednesdays. On Thursday, guests can pick a winning horse and win a free pint while the pool team play in the evenings.
Friday sees a traditional meat raffle take place with an array of live music performances, DJs, and karaoke in the night. The party doesn’t stop there as Saturday night sees more live music from local talent with Sunday seeing bingo take place with a quiz in the evening.
