Beach Theme Fancy Dress Party

Grab your shades, shorts and swimmers and head down to Ye Olde Red Lion in Sutton on Friday 24th August at 6pm for a beach-themed fun fancy dress party.
This event is being hosted to help raise money for Sutton Opportunity Pre-School, which is a charity dedicated to providing education to local students with disabilities. Funds help students attend field trips and provide them with specialised equipment for their needs.
The party will be held in the beer garden, which will be decked out with a Hawaiian Tiki beach bar serving cocktails, as well as a pool for the day! Partygoers will also have the chance of winning some fabulous prizes, kindly donated by local business and bar staff.
Erin Griffin, General Manager of Ye Olde Red Lion, is passionate about showing support for the charity while making the fundraising event fun for everyone. She is hoping to smash her target of £500 worth of donations for the pre-school.
She said: “The charity is reliant on funding to do anything extra for the kids and they work hard to raise money themselves. This is my way of saying thank you to them for all the support they’ve given our family and in particular, my autistic son, over the last two years.”
The manager of Sutton Opportunity Pre-School, Nikki Brooks, will be there on the night with some of her team to enjoy the festivities and to raise awareness.
Entrance to the beach party is £3, which will be donated straight to the charity.
