The Old Cross, Oldbury has organised a range of events during Jubilee Weekend, for all those who want to enjoy some quality time with friends and family.
Nicky Howen from the pub has planned a range of special events for Thursday 2 June, Friday 3 June and Saturday 4 June, which include, Jen Love performing at the pub on Thursday from 9pm, also they will be joining the community-led Party in the Park at Langley Park on Friday 3 June from 10 am until 4 pm. The event will see partygoers enjoy their favourite drinks, made by the staff from The Old Cross. Later in the day, at the pub, local musician Guy Young will be performing with his guitar from 9pm until 11pm, entertaining everyone with a mix of songs including classic pop hits.
On Saturday 4 June, the Old Cross has planned a full fun day of activities, including a marquee which will have music from Ian Scott, Legend and Ella starting at 1pm, as well as a catering van outside which will be serving a range of snacks and cakes which can be enjoyed on their marquee tables. In addition, you can get a refreshing treat from the ice cream van outside of the pub and get some relief from the sunshine, and have the children entertained by their Balloon Maker.
Trevor Ford, the Operator of The Old Cross, Oldbury, said: “This is an exciting opportunity to do something different and enjoy nature with our guests, whilst being at Langley Park. We are hoping to make this Jubilee Weekend truly memorable for everyone and we are welcoming all to join us for a few drinks at the pub afterwards.”
