A popular local pub, the Pembroke in Coulsdon has reopened its doors and is now happily welcoming back the local community, having opened this month, following a quarter of a million-pound investment by the award-winning Stonegate Group.
The family-friendly pub has been refreshed during its short closure, posing a new look with additions everyone will love. With added seating, fixtures and fittings, as well as a brand-new sports area with a new pool table and darts board, the Pembroke now provides a modern appearance, but retains its well-loved character and charm.
It is not just the interior of the pub which has been enhanced, but the pub’s outdoor area has also been transformed making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy drinks with friends and family, and you can even bring your furry friends along. With plenty of seating and outdoor lights, you can cosy up under the stars and enjoy the best of The Pembroke.
Along with the new look interior and exterior, The Pembroke’s food and drinks menus have also had a revamp. With an extensive range of beers, cask ales, wines, spirits and cocktails, you will be sure to find your favourite tipple.
To pair with the great range of drinks, the food menu features some mouth-watering pub classics, such as hearty pies, fish & chips and burgers. The pub will also be serving some delicious breakfast dishes, that will be the perfect start to any morning. With new features and brilliant food and drink offerings, the Pembroke’s facelift is not complete without a range of fantastic entertainment. Extra HD TV screens all with TNT Sports and Sky Sports have been installed around the venue and in the booth seating, meaning sports lovers can watch all the action from any area of the pub.
As well as catering for all the sports fans in Coulsdon, the Pembroke will also welcome everyone to have some fun at its weekly entertainment of Bingo Nights, Quiz Nights and DJ Nights on the weekend.
At the helm of the Pembroke and looking forward to welcoming back guests to the renovated Pembroke is General Manager, Jeff and the pub team, which has seen three new starters from the investment.
