Slug and Lettuce Croydon is set for an extensive renovation, reopening its doors on the 7th July. Adding an extra layer of sophistication, the £200,000 refurbishment will reaffirm the bar’s position as the go-to place in Croydon, be it a ‘Get Together’ with the girls, a drink after work or a leisurely Sunday brunch.
Transforming the venue completely, the interior has been modernised throughout and decorated in the signature Slug and Lettuce style with minimal yet elegant decor. The addition of stylish new furniture brings a fresh look, and stunning new bathrooms and a new, larger bar has been added. If that’s not enough, the installation of a dedicated cocktail masterclass station will allow customers to create their favourite tipple of choice, and a new DJ booth will see guests dancing the night away.
With the most extensive cocktail list ever, no one will be disappointed. The introduction of the exclusive, Gancia Leggero Prosecco has 75% less sugar for those counting the calories. What’s more, customers will also be able to try the new Absolut Lime, the latest addition to the core range of flavours, providing a refreshing citrus taste. For those who are unable to choose, the innovative Tapas Tails, will offer a flight of three cocktails and finally, for those indulgent types, the addition of the Baileys Iced Latte will not disappoint. For those set to party the night away, the Giant Pornstar Martini is perfect for groups, priced at just £30.
The extensive new food menu will also entice every palette. Crispy fried jalapeño slices will be on offer, served with paprika sour cream and cured meat antipasti to the Small Plates section are set to ignite anyone’s taste buds. What’s better is that customers will be able to share them around at the cost of £18 for five dishes.* The launch of the Sweet & Petite segment offers a selection of sumptuous desserts including cookie crumb profiteroles drizzled in chocolate flavoured sauce and the zesty lemon and lime tart wedges. Perfect for picking, at just £5 for two!
