The historic Slaughter House pub in Liverpool has recently had an investment that has seen it reimagined and further grown into a thriving adjacent Hotel – the Fenwick Sunrise!

Famous for its ghosts, unrivalled entertainment and hearty English breakfast, the pub-come-hotel is open and boasts a revamped bar area, artistic bedroom interiors and a lovingly redecorated function room.

A short walk from the pier and trendy docks area, The Slaughter House, is also a favourite haunt of Liverpool FC players. High-definition TV screens can be found throughout the pub, showing Sky and BT Sports every day. Publican, Tom Dalton said:

“I am so pleased to share the upgrades at the Slaughter House, including the news of an exciting hotel for the area. We’ve always had a great audience because of our comedy nights and live music weekends, and now the new décor and wider range of products will draw even more regulars and visitors to the pub.”

The team has also expanded, with 15 now working in the pub alone and the addition of four new members of staff in the hotel. A fresh, contemporary look can now be found in every corner of the pub, with a special theme featuring in the upstairs guestrooms.

Each bedroom features a specially commissioned wall of graffiti art based on scenes from Liverpool and has a name synonymous with the great city. Guests may well be staying in the ‘Fab Four’ suite! Other rooms bear names such as The City of Liverpool Room and The Slaughter House Room. The name ‘The Slaughter House’ is unique as the pub is the only pub or bar in the world to have the name!

Hand in hand, the restored Slaughter House pub and Fenwick Sunrise Hotel provide the ultimate destination stay in Liverpool, as guests can enjoy all the pub has to offer including the famous comedy club situated in the cellar. Overnight visitors can expect exceptional comfort and hospitality matched with an urban, trend-setting atmosphere.
