The popular Priory pub in Grantham is open again after a £223,000 makeover offering great British hospitality and all-round sporting action much to the delight of locals.
The latest works to the town’s pub, which is a busy hub of the community, mean customers can watch the best of live Sky and BT Sports in the comfort of a great local pub, as well as enjoy darts and pool games.
There are nine new internal big screens and an outside TV so fans can enjoy the games inside or out in the garden. Two new dartboards and a pool table add exciting in-house sporting entertainment too. Clever zoning alongside state-of-the-art screens and audio mean there is superior sports viewing throughout the pub while the three rooms can be used to offer separate but varied entertainment.
The pub on Dysart Road is part of the award-winning Craft Union Pub Company, who were named the Best Community Operator at the 2022 Publican Awards. It invested over £223,000 in The Priory during its recent refurbishment so the Grantham community can enjoy this friendly neighbourhood pub for years to come.
It’s ideally located for local residents and shoppers while appealing to the wider community thanks to a good-sized car park, extensive beer garden and terracing too.
Delighted with the pub’s refreshed look is The Priory’s new general manager, Sam Forrest who grew up in the hospitality industry. He has been working in bars since he was 17 both in the Midlands and abroad so brings a wealth of experience to his new pub.
