A £164,000 investment into the popular Armley local, has seen the White Horse reopen with a refreshing new look, and improved sports viewing facilities.

 

Based on the outskirts of Leeds, the pub’s entertainment hub comes via its five large TVs, for guests to watch all of the biggest and best football fixtures and horse racing meets at their local favourite. The passion for horse racing runs through the veins of regular guests, with a group of them collectively owning a racehorse to cheer on.  Adding to the sporting theme, a new illuminated darts board has been installed to create a little healthy competition between guests.

 

With an array of entertainment on offer throughout the week, the White Horse is the perfect venue within the local community to enjoy an afternoon or evening. Kicking off on Monday with their Bingo Night, the week continues with a guest favourite Race Day on Tuesday, Wednesday Games Night and Thursday Quiz Night. The weekend sees the fun continue, as the team at the White Horse Inn welcomes guests to the dancefloor, where they host a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night of DJ entertainment, playing the ultimate floor fillers.

 

Speaking on the refurbishment Operator at the White Horse, Kendall Foulds said “We’ve got such a great entertainment offering now with the additional large TVs, and new darts area, there really is no better venue in the area to come and enjoy all of the biggest sports events with your friends and family. Being at the heart of the community, it’s great to welcome back our guests once again.”

 

An overhaul of its appearance both internally and externally has seen the White Horse, based on Town Street, reopen much to the excitement of the people of Armley. The transformation has included new furnishings and fittings and a new colour scheme throughout.

 

Kendall added “I’m so pleased to see our regulars back at the pub and enjoying themselves once again. The pub is looking great, and we are now set to enjoy the upcoming sporting occasions as well as the festive celebrations.  We’ve had some brilliant nights with our guests during the reopening parties, everyone has had a great time and the future is looking bright.”
