High street favourite Slug and Lettuce will see a refreshed and refined menu rolled out across all of its sites in the UK on the 10th May, welcoming several additions to its offering along with the launch of competitive deals set to entice any pocket and palate.
With the ever-increasing demand for dishes which can be shared or offer a lighter bite, the small plates have been expanded with the addition of crispy fried jalapeno slices served with paprika sour cream and cured meat antipasti to the Small Plates section are set to ignite anyone’s taste buds. What’s better is that customers will be able to share them round at the cost of £18 for five dishes.* The launch of the Sweet & Petite segment offers a selection of sumptuous desserts including cookie crumb profiteroles drizzled in chocolate flavoured sauce and the zesty lemon and lime tart wedges. Perfect for picking at just £5 for two!
Last but definitely not least, the ever-popular drinks menu has also been updated. The brand will be exclusively launching with the new Skinny Prosecco. The Gancia Leggero Prosecco has 75% less sugar and is the father of Italian sparkling wine. If that’s not enough, Slug and Lettuce customers will also be able to try the new Absolut Lime, the latest addition to the core range of flavours, providing a refreshing citrus taste. For those who are unable to choose, the innovative Tapas Tails, will offer a flight of three cocktails and finally, for those indulgent types, the addition of the Baileys Iced Latte will not disappoint.
Throughout the week, bars will also be offering great value deals for its customers. Slug and Lettuce’s popular ‘Happy Mondays’ promotion of 50% off food all day continues and, due to popular demand, the ‘Wine Down Wednesday’ offer is set to carry on with selected bottles of wine or Gancia Dry Prosecco priced at £12. On top of this, lunches from £5 will be available Monday to Friday, Burger and Drink for just £7 on Monday and Tuesday and Wine and Dine from Monday to Friday will provide punters with a bottle of house wine and three small plates for just £20.
