A popular Warwickshire village pub has reopened its doors after a major makeover to provide the best in hospitality and live sport to the community.

The Swan Inn on Studley High Street has been given a full refit which includes improving viewing space throughout so everyone can get a great look at live sport.

With nine big screens and full Sky Sports and BT Sport packages The Swan is the perfect place to watch events such as the recent FIFA World Cup, the Premier League, and pay per view boxing.

Customers and the pub’s teams can enjoy taking part in sport too with three new illuminated darts boards plus a new pool table.

The Swan has been redesigned and modernised to create a more open plan feel while the garden has had new furniture and AstroTurf added to make it even more welcoming.

There’s a new yet familiar face behind the bar with Julie Clarke taking over as The Swan’s Operator. Julie has been in the pub trade for 15 years and has run venues across Worcester, including The Royal Exchange and The Brunswick.

She said: “I was so excited when the opportunity at The Swan came up. My parents used to run a pub here and I always enjoyed a night out here with my friends, so it is a bit like a homecoming for me. We really want to make this pub the heart of the community.

“We are open to everyone and we know times are tough but we want to be a place where people feel they can come in rather than be alone at home, no matter how much they have to spend. The heating will be on and this will always be a welcoming environment.”

The pub is part of the award-winning Craft Union Pub Company, which was named the Best Community Operator at the 2022 Publican Awards. It invested over £233,000 in The Swan so it can bring the best in hospitality to the Studley community and beyond. The pub is family and pet friendly, with dog biscuits on the bar, and is open throughout the day.

Julie added: “The old skittles room has been knocked through so everything is now part of one big pub and that has really given it the wow factor. We have had great feedback so far and we can’t wait to welcome more people through the doors.”

The pub offers a wide range of beers and ciders, with Neck Oil proving a huge hit. It also has a wide range of wines, gins and cocktails with a number of deals available. With the Craft Union Order & Pay app, customers can simply order drinks from their seat and they will be delivered to the table.

Keep up to date with all the events and offers on the pub’s website and follow on its Facebook page.
