As a pub with the community at its heart, and sports a core part of its offering, the Imperial Inn is thrilled to announce its sponsorship of Hereford FC’s season ticket for the 2024/25 season. The pub is taking the sponsorship over from fellow Stonegate Group venue, Yates Hereford, who have supported the club since 2015.
Tucked away in historic Hereford, the Imperial Inn has been a beloved fixture amongst the local community for many generations, owing to its legacy as one of the oldest pubs in Hereford. As part of the sponsorship, all season ticket holders will receive a fantastic 10% off every time they dine at the Imperial Inn and fans will also benefit from a number of other limited time only offers throughout the year as advertised in the Hereford FC digital programme.
General Manager of the Imperial Inn, Andy Rimmer, commented: “This our first year sponsoring Hereford FC’s season ticket and we hope it will be a long and prosperous relationship. We serve many of the fans at the pub and absolutely love their enthusiasm and dedication to Hereford’s local football scene. It’s an honour and a privilege to get to support the iconic Hereford club and we hope to see many season ticket holders making good use of their discount!”
Martin Brain, Commercial Manager at Hereford FC, added: “We are so pleased to have Imperial Inn on board as our season ticket sponsor for the 2024/25 period. Many of our fans are regulars at the Imperial Inn and we are thrilled to have begun this relationship and have the support of a key community business within Hereford.”
The traditional, half-timbered pub is located in the heart of Hereford and is a stone’s throw from the Hereford FC Edgar Street grounds, making it an ideal spot for a pre-match fuel up or post-match stop off to enjoy some delicious grub. Season ticket holders can make the most of their 10% off food offer and enjoy fan-favourites such as their great burgers for a discounted cost, all season long. The Imperial Inn also benefits from a varied drinks menu, with everything from craft ales to cocktails and an extensive spirits menu.
When Hereford FC aren’t playing locally, the Imperial Inn has many large TV screens equipped with Sky Sports, both indoors and outside, to make sure locals can catch the upcoming season of football matches, rain or shine. Outside of supporting their local club, the Imperial Inn will also be streaming all upcoming Euro matches, and with its large seating area, delicious food menu, substantial beer garden with open air bar and community led atmosphere, it’s the place to be for catching the summer of sporting action ahead.
The Imperial Inn has long been a staple venue in the community and was once one of the largest breweries in the county, Imperial Brewery, from where it still takes part of its name. The pub is said to be the birthplace of Alfred Watkins in 1855, the pioneer photographer, archaeologist and inventor. Over the years, the pub has rebranded and reshaped, however still retains its rustic charm and offering as a tranquil escape from city life.
The Imperial Inn is both family and dog friendly and the team look forward to welcoming the community to the venue for the upcoming summer of sporting activity.
