Southsea’s the Lord Fitzclarence, formally known as The Kingsleys [68 Osbourne Road, Southsea, Portsmouth, PO5 3LU] has reopened following a £200,000 investment.
Now part of the award-winning Craft Union Pub Company, which is the current title holder of the Best Community Pub Operator and is famous for establishing pubs in the heart of their communities, the Lord Fitzclarence has been transformed with a new look and feel inside and out.
This investment also brings a new face behind the bar in Adam Hughes as the pub’s Operator. Having worked in hospitality for a number of years, Adam said: “I am so excited about this new chapter at the pub. Our new warm and friendly look has given the pub a new lease of life.”
The Lord Fitzclarence’s entertainment offer is set to be a big hit too. With the latest in audio-visual technology, this community pub is the place to catch all the sporting action on BT Sport and Sky across several TV screens around the pub. There is also a programme of events throughout the week, including DJs, board game nights and ‘Win Your Weekly Shop’ competitions.
Adam added: “We’ve got a fantastic offering of entertainment – between our events throughout the week to our live sport, there really is something for everyone. I also cannot wait to work with the community in supporting local events and causes in the coming weeks and months.”
Keep up to date with all the events and offers on the pub’s website and social media page:
