Pub-goers in Morecambe are in for a winter treat from 23rd November when Marine Road Central pub, The Kings Arms, reopens following an £800,000 investment.

With a complete bar transformation, a new autumn/winter menu and HDTVs, the pub is sure to be a hit with sports fans and foodies alike. Offering a welcoming and relaxed environment to spend time with friends and loved-ones, the pub will also provide a wide range of well-priced food and drink with local Cross Bay Brewery having renamed one of their pale ale blondes, Bring Me Sunshine, after local legend Eric Morecambe especially for The Kings Arms.

The exciting new menu features an extended selection of veggie and vegan specials, as well as burgers, kid’s meals and food and drink offers throughout the week. These include discounted big plates on ‘Mighty Monday’, perfect to accompany the football; burgers and a choice of drink on Tuesdays; Pie and a Pint on Wednesdays; a grilled dish and a drink for Quiz Night Thursdays; any classic dish and a drink on Fridays; a pick ‘n’ mix of sharing dishes on Saturday; and a great Sunday Lunch to finish off the week.

General Manager, Adam Hulmes, is celebrating the opening with a launch party from 5pm on Friday 23rd November, welcoming new and existing customers with a glass of fizz and canapes on arrival.

Adam says: “We are incredibly excited to relaunch our pub to the people of Morecambe. Not only is the new interior looking amazing but we also have such a great range of local ales to go with our well-priced food. We look forward to welcoming everyone in.”
