The Fir Tree, on Gorton Road, will be hosting a Ladies Night on Friday 20^th of July. Kicking off at 8pm, the evening will feature performances from male dancers, Max Hunter and Logan, and a Drag Queen act from Bonnie La Blue.

The evening comes after a successful event earlier in the year, organised by new manager, Lesley Wilkinson. Tickets cost £5 in advance and £10 on the door.

“After the World Cup, it’s definitely time we have a night just for the girls!” said Lesley, “The first Ladies Night we had was so popular and so successful, we just had to have another one. But don’t worry boys, we won’t hog the pub the whole night – you’re very welcome to join us later when our resident DJ Gaz Danielz takes to the decks.

“Since joining the Fir Tree, it’s been really important to me for us to be a real community pub. I want to make sure we have something on for everyone to enjoy and Ladies Night is a big part of that. It’ll be night full of fun and entertainment, and I for one, can’t wait!”
