The Scott Arms in Birmingham is set to reopen to the local community on Friday 3 November following a short closure, and will welcome a new operator at the helm.

The popular pub is now part of the award-winning Craft Union Pub Company, which puts its pubs at the heart of their communities and play a vital role within the communities they serve.

The well-loved character, charm and look of the Scotts Arms will be retained, with this new chapter providing an array of new offerings, including entertainment throughout the week and weekends.

The bar will house an extensive variety of drinks, so you will be sure to find your favourite tipple. With some classic and new beers on tap, the pub will feature a range of popular craft beers alongside wines, spirits and cocktails. You can also enjoy drinks with friends and family in the traditional, cosy bar area or outside garden space.

As well as a great drink offering, the pub’s weekly entertainment schedule has had a refresh. The pub will broadcast live sports on its screens throughout the venue, including Sky Sports and TNT sports, so you don’t have to miss out on any of the action. Locals can also look forward to Friday night DJs, live music on Saturdays and enjoy a variety of games such as themed quizzes, chase the joker and play your cards right.

Guests can expect some familiar and new faces behind the bar, including new Operator Lewis Edkins, who is looking to welcome locals and visitors to the new style of operation.

Lewis commented: “I am so excited to be at the Scott Arms and am looking forward to bringing the community together. We will have lots of activities planned with our new events and regular sports screenings, and the team and I hope to see you all on reopening day!”
