Marie Rimmer, MP for St Helens South and Whiston, recently visited The Sefton in St Helens to mark its official re-opening following the completion of a significant £200,000 investment in the site.
During her visit, Ms Rimmer met General Manager, Matthew Williams and Area Manager, Emily Savage. She was given a tour of the venue and learnt about Stonegate’s apprenticeships, training and development schemes.
Following her visit, Marie Rimmer MP, said: “The Sefton has always been the place to meet in St Helens and the recent investment in the pub will secure its success in the community for years to come. I am a firm supporter of community pubs and The Sefton feels very comfortable, warm and welcoming. There are so many different areas in the pub, whether you are coming in for a morning coffee, or an after-work drink or an evening meal. I will definitely be popping back with my friends and family for lunch soon.”
