The Falcon Hotel, Painswick recently welcomed local MP Siobhan Baillie to meet with the team and see enhancements made during its investment.

The MP for Stroud met with General Manager, Henry Bannister and team members, who warmly welcomed her into the community venue. Henry and the team gave Ms Baillie a full tour of the Falcon, telling her about what changes had been made during the investment and their current offerings of food, drinks, events and the hotel.

During the visit, Siobhan was able to hear all about the Falcon’s community involvement and the relationships the team have built with local customers. She was also very keen to find out how the business was doing and future plans for the venue.

Siobhan Baillie MP said: “It was a pleasure to meet with Henry and the Falcon team, their pub and hotel looks wonderful, and they offer so much for the community and visitors to the area. This is a true community hub, and it is great to see it is supported by so many people in and around Stroud.
I was also pleased to hear the government announce a freeze on alcohol duty until August 2023 ahead of a new system for calculating taxes on alcohol coming into force. This will give this important sector some certainty.

“Henry and the team are doing a great job at maintaining high standards and offering a fantastic customer experience. I look forward to returning to the Falcon in the Future and meeting with the team again.”

Henry said: “It was lovely to welcome Siobhan to the Falcon and show her our wonderful pub and hotel. The enhancements made during the investment have really transformed the venue and our offering.
