The beloved Sheffield local is showing fantastic effort in support of the worthy cause as part of Craft Union Pub Company’s campaign to raise £1 million in charity donations across its extensive network of pubs nationwide.
Craft Union’s ‘Make it a Million’ campaign follows the company’s awesome fundraising efforts last year, during which they raised a phenomenal £800,000 for a wide range of commendable causes. The leading pub company has made it their mission to smash last year’s result and reach a whopping 1 million pounds via its sites across the UK by February 2025.
Sheffield favourite, Noahs Ark, is a ‘Make it a Million’ high-flyer and has already raised a fantastic £3000 in total for The Children’s Hospital Charity. The much-loved local held an exciting 12-hour darts game, in which 6 committed players battled out from 10.30 am until 10.30 pm to raise some much-needed funds for the worthy cause. Members of the local community were thrilled to get involved and cheer the gang on throughout the day, offering their support and much-appreciated donations. The team sported their bright matching t-shirts and managed to raise a staggering £1,500 with their awesome efforts.
Operator Michael is keen to bring his community together in the name of such an important cause and will not be stopping there in his endeavour to raise funds for the local charity. Michael has been supporting The Children’s Hospital Charity since taking over Noahs Ark in August 2023 and hopes to continue supporting his community where possible. Raising funds for the local charity has been a huge part of Michael’s journey at Noahs Ark, and he has hosted a range of commendable fundraisers such a huge Easter Egg donation and ongoing weekly charity games.
The popular Sheffield pub hosts regular action-packed fundraising activities such as weekly bingo, ‘Crack the Safe’ games, and meat raffles, after which proceeds are donated to the charity on an ongoing basis.
