The Castell-Nedd Arms is open once more, following a £174,000 investment into the popular South Wales pub.
Being the go-to venue for sporting entertainment in the Neath area, the Castell-Nedd Arms’ recent refurbishment, is a sure hit with both locals and passers-by, as the new football season is well under way.
The biggest change in the pub comes from its new games room, which has seen the relocation of the pub’s pool table, and the addition of a brand new dart board to strike up some healthy competition between friends. The new games room also features a TV, meaning that guests can keep an eye on gripping sporting events whilst playing pool and darts. The pub is also looking to create a darts and second pool team to regularly take on fixtures, so if you see yourself as the next Gerwyn Price then do pop in and register your interest with the team behind the bar.
Speaking on the reopening, Operator at the Castell-Nedd Arms, Kayleigh Strinati said “Guests are loving the new look and the brand-new games room is a particular highlight. I’m sure that our local community is going to enjoy this pub for many years to come.”
Right in the heart of Neath’s town centre, the Castell-Nedd Arms is the place to enjoy the biggest sporting occasions, with nine large TVs throughout the pub, showing all the biggest sporting events from BT and Sky Sports.
A fresh new look has been brought to the pub with its refurbishment, seeing all areas of the venue given an update. The pub’s popular conservatory area has also been given a new lease of life, with its booth seating extended, providing space for more guests to enjoy the area.
The pub’s popular café area, outside, continues to serve hot drinks, and for those wanting to enjoy the last of the summer sun, the pub’s garden has also seen additions with new festoon lighting added to allow use of the garden well into the evening.
Across the weekends, entertainment comes from regular music nights, with a live band every Friday, a Karaoke DJ on Saturday and a live singer every Sunday afternoon there really is something for everyone at this friendly Welsh pub.
