Popular Weston-Super-Mare pub, The Regent, has today launched an exciting new events schedule, with live music and Taylor Swift themed fun just one of many action-packed events partygoers can come to expect.

Taking place on the last Friday of every month, a host of local live bands will be bringing the party atmosphere to The Regent. Kicking off the musical performances, popular Bristol band, Pop the Top, will be performing some classic pop covers to entertain the Westonian masses.

Located a short walk away from the iconic Grand Pier, the pub reopened in June following a six figure investment that saw the pub add new booths, more seating, DJ booths and designated areas tailored for the best entertainment experience possible.

The renovations mean the pub is now open until 1am on Fridays and 2am on Saturdays, with an array of local DJs playing hits late into the night on Saturday, crowning The Regent as Weston-Super-Mare’s party central.

The new events programme also launches alongside a 2-4-1 ‘All Night Long Drinks’ selection, which includes tantalising classics from a selection of over 35 tasty beverages, alongside an outstanding selection of fruit flavoured vodkas. Groups of friends can also make the most of Party Pitchers with six people sharers available for just £28.

Westonian Swifties can also enjoy Taylor’s version of The Regent’s bottomless brunch on Saturday 17thAugust, with the pub encouraging locals to Shake it Off and embrace their Anti-Hero, with bookings available between 5pm-7pm.

“With an array of local DJs spinning decks, we want to establish The Regent as one of the best nights out in the area and our recent refurbishment further shows our dedication to making The Regent the place to go for Westonians.”

The seaside pub’s refurbishment also boasts expanded HD TV screens to ensure sports fans won’t miss a second of the action. Contemporary media screens, DJ booths, and a vibrant new area for live band performances have also been added as a result of the investment.
