The team at Queens Court on Lower Briggate are well into their preparations for their annual Easter Event on Sunday 8th April. The event, which is held in partnership with Bar Fibre in the historic, cobbled courtyard that joins the two clubs together has been running for the past nine years and is fast becoming the Easter event to attend.
“The courtyard parties are really attracting a fantastic crowd of people who create a friendly, attitude-free atmosphere,” said Simon Almey, Deputy Manager of Queens Court. “Our Easter event is the first in the calendar of our courtyard parties and really sets the scene. The courtyard is a real hidden gem and we dress it up to give it a continental, alfresco appeal. We’ll be playing all of the latest music with the help of DJs such as Alex Simmons, Stuart Robinson and Christian Appleby who get the crowd going. If you haven’t been down to the Queens Court to celebrate Easter then you’re definitely missing out – this year, it will be bigger and much better than before!”
The event starts at 2pm and tickets cost £3 up until 5pm. After 5pm, tickets cost £5 and the event is expected to finish at midnight.
Future courtyard parties will be held on Sunday 6th May, Sunday 3rd June and wrapping up the end of Summer, Sunday 26th August.
