Star, on Bridge Street, Bishops Stortford, reopens on Friday 16th November following a £150,000 investment.
The revamp has fitted the pub with a refurbished bar area and new furniture to create a completely new vibe. The beer garden hasn’t been forgotten and now boasts a new layout and a covered pagoda that will have customers dreaming of warm summer nights.
Six craft ales, its own local ale from Bishops Nic, Brentwoods and eighty varieties of gin make up a truly enviable bar line-up and a range of food and drink offers will attract customers through the week. 2-4-1 Burgers on Tuesdays to accompany Quiz Night, £3 Sticky Wing Wednesdays; 2-4-1 Pie Nights on Thursdays, and Gin Fridays to finish off the working week in style.
General Manager, Samantha Cobell and her team are celebrating the new look on Friday 16th November, welcoming the first 100 customers with a complimentary glass of fizz or craft, alongside canapés and menu tasters to showcase the pubs range of comfort food classics and finger food favourites. Lilley’s cider tastings will also be available at the opening with a DJ from 9pm.
Samantha said: “We are incredibly excited to re-launch our pub to the people of Bishops Stortford. The new interior, our great range of drinks and the well-priced food are sure to make us a real destination venue. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back in!”
